Michelle Marans

Ms. Marans graduated from the Syracuse University College Law in May 1993 and holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of Michigan- Ann Arbor (1990).  She was admitted to the New York State Bar in February 1994 and is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts for the Southern, Eastern, Northern and Western districts of New York.  Prior to her association with Frenkel Lambert Weiss Weisman & Gordon, Ms. Marans concentrated her practice in the fields of transactional real estate and bankruptcy law, representing debtors and creditors in consumer and business bankruptcy cases.  She is a member and prior president of the Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Association.  Ms. Marans has also been a frequent lecturer on bankruptcy topics for various bar associations and was co-chair of the Capital Region and Central New York Bankruptcy Bar Associations Tenth Annual Bankruptcy Conference. Ms. Marans practices within our bankruptcy department in the Buffalo office.
