Ruth O’Connor
Ms. O’Connor earned her Juris Doctorate from St. John’s University School of Law in 1989 and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Cornell University. She was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1990 and is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Courts of the Eastern, Southern, Western and Northern Districts of New York, as well as the Second Circuit. Ms. O’Connor has represented and advised lenders, servicers and investors in real estate and mortgage litigation for over twenty years and has gained extensive experience in residential and commercial foreclosure while associated with firms in the New York metropolitan area. Earlier in her career, she was a prosecutor with the District Attorney’s office in Suffolk County, New York. Ms. O’Connor is a Partner in our mortgage default litigation department in the Long Island office.
